Offline Functions and Online Limitations

After installation and activation, supported local diagnostic functions can be used offline during the 370-day activation period. Internet access is still required for the initial remote installation, support and any future renewal.

Compatible Diagnostic Interface

Is Global TechStream Plus the same as Toyota Techstream?

GTS+ is Toyota's next-generation diagnostic platform. Techstream V18 is the older application. Both can be useful, but the correct choice depends on the vehicle year, market and required function.

Does Toyota GTS+ work offline?

This package is configured for supported offline diagnostic functions during its activation period. Toyota server-backed functions are excluded.

Can it program Toyota or Lexus keys?

No key-programming or immobilizer access is included. Those functions can require Toyota security authorization and online services.

Can it reprogram an ECU?
