Caterpillar SIS Service Information

Caterpillar SIS provides locally installed parts and service information, including parts identification, electrical and hydraulic schematics, specifications, disassembly and assembly instructions, and repair procedures for covered equipment.

Flash Files and Authorized Service Use

The package includes a 40 GB Caterpillar ECM flash-file library plus the listed 10-digit factory-password service. Programming and password functions must only be used on equipment you own or are authorized to service.

CAT Communication Adapter Compatibility

A compatible Caterpillar communication adapter is required for live diagnostics and is sold separately. The commonly used option is the CAT Communication Adapter III (478-0235).
